Yes we are in a leap year! Leap Day, February 29, is an extra day that comes around every four years to allow for the fact that the earth does not orbit the sun perfectly in 365 days. For fun facts, customs, and traditions tied to Leap Day, read here.
Meanwhile, we at CYM have a plan for your February 29: what better way to spend your extra day than with beautiful music!?
Come hear Ms. Leah and Ms. Simmi perform Prokofiev’s Five Melodies for Violin and Piano and Meditation for Thais by Massenet this Leap Day! Piano and violin students will also perform; reception to follow.
Let’s celebrate together in Sewickley, on February 29, 3:00-5:00 pm. See you there!
