Drumming Circle [Postponed]

The Drum Circle from March 14th has been postponed to April 18th at 4:00 p.m. Please keep checking for more updates and information. Thank you!

You have likely heard about the benefits of steady beat, or the therapeutic value of drumming, especially in a group. Of course, just to clarify, what we are offering is no crazy 1990’s drumming in the woods venture! But rather, a time to enjoy the creative process of making music, and learning something about how to drum, and how to build ensemble!

Matt Price, who leads the drum circle, had this to say about drumming circles, and the CYM event:

“I participated in my first drum circle in 2016 and I was blown away by the power that group drumming had on my mind, body and spirit. Even though I’ve been playing drums since 1994 I never experienced anything quite like it. Group drumming allows people from all ages and skill levels to come together and create music, community and fun in a supportive environment. No Experience necessary and beginners are warmly welcomed!”

Hope to see you this Saturday, April 18th, 4:00-6:00 pm at our Sewickley location!
