Second Annual “Achievement Day” is Coming

February 21, 2020

CYM’s second annual Achievement Day has been postponed and will be scheduled at a later date. What is Achievement Day? It is an opportunity for your student to perform for other students and faculty, and receive immediate feedback from faculty panelists. This is a perfect event for teacher and student to set a few  specific performance goals. Setting a goal helps students work more intentionally in their practice time. Openings for Voice Lessons

January 24, 2020

Center for Young Musicians has openings for lessons in singing. Why not schedule a four lesson trial for your student! In that time, our voice teacher, Ms. Lindsay, can coach for upcoming auditions, work on a school performance, or just get your student started on the right track! When you think about it, all music students should have these major goals for their studies: that they can 1) look at a page of music and hear it in their head, and 2) to be able to sing their part! All musicians, of every instrument, should be able to match pitch and sing their music. This is the perfect time to round out your student’s musical studies. Call or visit the website to schedule a four lesson trial today! (724) 935-0505

Ringo Starr, and learn to play a drum set? Or perhaps you love jazz and others genres and would like to explore options for electric bass. Did you know pit orchestras are often looking for electric bass players? The bass provides a crucial beat and harmonic center for any band. Why not give it a try? And one instrument that you can play and it will always put a smile...
